History of Glendale Restoration Branch

Glendale Restoration Branch was formed in 1984.  The congregation began meeting in Glendale Elementary School until 1995, when a store-front was rented in the Carriage Lane strip mall, just off of Noland Road and Gudgell in Independence, MO.  The congregation met at this location for ten years, during which time the congregation outgrew the one unit location and rented a second adjoining unit.  The wall between the two units was removed and members remodeled the space.

In November, 2005, the congregation purchased the land and building at 17803 Susquehanna Ridge, from a Greek Orthodox Church.  Once again, many members gave of their talents and skills to remodel the building to it's present state.
